In this episode of the Driven Female Entrepreneur Podcast, I speak with Karen Burge, the Owner of Karen J Burge Ltd.

 

Before her success as a coach, her first job was with a London PR and Marketing agency but because of her husband’s continual relocation for work, she spent almost 30 years as a serial entrepreneur. She once ran a very successful cleaning agency in addition to setting up numerous enterprises in the food, fashion, and gift retailing industries.

 

Although everything was going really well, realising that her latest business venture didn’t feed her soul, she took a few steps back to assess what she loves most. That’s when she went into coaching. She had initially begun as a life coach, but her passion for business led her to change and evolve into a business coach – which she loved.

 

However, Karen noticed that the social media bubble became full of people just like her. She also noticed that many coaches were reaching a certain level and getting stuck there – along with everyone else who were taking the same courses and doing the same actions. 

 

Given her experience with wealthy clients, she decided to use it to help more business owners work with this market. Now, she assists business owners in achieving their core objective, which is a steady stream of customers. She aids in the productive and stress-free growth of businesses by combining straightforward processes with innovative ideas.

About Karen

 

Karen has been a serial entrepreneur, owning various successful businesses for over 30 years. 7 years ago she became a coach, first training as a life coach. However she says business has always lit her up and she found herself transitioning into a business mentor and did further training in marketing.

 

Last year she was struck how most established coaches, therapists and service providers were staying at a certain level. She knew that by helping them break into a far more affluent market, they’d achieve a far higher income, with fewer clients; and this is what she now does.
