Emma has had a 'squiggly' career that has enabled her to build some diverse skills, that all neatly come together in her work to help women step up as impactful leaders. She started in pharmaceutical sales, before training as a speech and language therapist. A job she loved. She later used these skills within the events industry, before taking a career break to raise her children. A time when she found she lost all her previous confidence.
She took the brave step to supplement her existing skills with a Master Degree in voice coaching from the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, while her daughter was just three-years old. Then brought her new skills, together with her existing experiences, to launch her business: Speaking at Work.

After a short and affair with the NHS, she became Operations Director in a successful event business, before finding her true passion and training as Voice Coach at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
She brings the wealth of all that knowledge to help women raise their visibility and credibility at work, by amplifying their ability to be heard and cultivating thoughtful leadership in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds.
